For our Christmas parties, we want the children to have the joy of giving a gift to a special person in their class.  We talk a lot about how God gave us the gift of Jesus at Christmas and how we can give gifts to be like Him.  We also emphasize the manners and etiquette of gift-giving.  This will give them a chance to practice gift-giving before your Christmas get-togethers. Please talk to your child about what kind of gift their friends might like and then take your child to get the gift.  (Please do not spend any more than $5.00 on a gift.  Dollar Store gifts are just fine.) We ask that if you have a boy please buy a gift for a boy.  If you have a girl, please buy a gift for a girl. When wrapping the gift, please attach a tag on the outside of the package that says:
TO:  Boy or Girl
From:  (Your Child's Nam)

On the day of their party, your child should come at the regular time (8:30 am) and bring the gift they are giving to their friend.  Parents are invited to join us for their child's time outlined above for a short Christmas program, our gift exchange, and a snack.  Your child is also excited to give YOU a special gift they will make in December. This should last one hour.  If you cannot make it to the program, you may pick up your child at the regular time.
